Anthropic PBC plans to meet prospective investors on 14 October at its San Francisco headquarters ahead of its initial public offering, Bloomberg reported on 1 October, citing people familiar with the matter.
Bloomberg said invitations recently went out to a select group of institutional investors. They will be able to question senior executives at the event.
Anthropic could begin formally marketing the IPO the week of 9 November, Bloomberg said, with the aim of listing before Thanksgiving. Bloomberg described this as the company's firmest timeline yet. Earlier reports had pointed to October 2026.
The company is targeting a valuation of up to $2 trillion or more, according to the report. That would make it the largest IPO of all time. Bloomberg named Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan as underwriters.
Reuters has reported on Anthropic's S-1 prospectus, which showed 2025 revenue up 12 times to roughly $4.6 billion. Anthropic's last private valuation was about $965 billion, set in its Series H-1 round in May 2026. Yahoo Finance also reported that the company may list as early as mid-November.
OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman has said OpenAI's own IPO is not coming this year.
The dates and valuation come from anonymous sources and could change. Anthropic has not commented publicly. The investor day on 14 October is the next scheduled step, with formal marketing possible from the week of 9 November.
