The answer
Nvidia's Q2 fiscal 2027 revenue hit $96.2bn, beating forecasts, on data-centre demand.
Nvidia reported record quarterly revenue of $96.2 billion for the three months to 26 July 2026, up 106% from $46.7 billion a year earlier, the company said on 26 August 2026.
Nvidia said the figure beat analyst consensus of about $92.1 billion by roughly 4.5%, and marked an 18% rise on the previous quarter.
Data-centre revenue reached $89.0 billion, up 18% quarter on quarter and 117% year on year, according to the company's results statement.
Gross margin stood at 75.0% on both a GAAP and non-GAAP basis. Net income was $59.7 billion, with earnings per share of $2.46 GAAP and $2.22 non-GAAP, ahead of a $2.09 consensus and the fifth consecutive quarterly beat.
Nvidia returned about $26.0 billion to shareholders through buybacks and dividends, leaving roughly $99.0 billion under its existing buyback authorisation. The next dividend, of $0.25 per share, is payable on 1 October.
The company's debt rose to $33.4 billion from $8.5 billion in January. Nvidia is separately backing up to $105 billion of financing for OpenAI's data centre in Ohio.
Nvidia forecast third-quarter revenue of $108.0 billion, plus or minus 2%, a figure that assumes no data-centre compute revenue from China. The guidance follows warnings to customers days earlier that server prices will rise by more than 15% because of higher memory costs.
